Building a Gaming PC | How to Build a Gaming PC
Everest Guru Blog: If you are looking for a guide to build a gaming PC, then its a perfect article. Its a very useful article. After reading this article you will definitely be able to know more about building gaming PC. So Lets begin a Journey to build a gaming PC.
How to build a gaming PC
Gaming PC are very important aspects of
multimedia technology, as the high gaming experiences, design, animations,
rendering, etc are some of the premium features of Gaming PC. We all know that
the present world is digital, so there is a great significance's of Gaming PC.
Now, let’s move towards our topic which is the procedures of building a gaming
PC.
Gaming PC also helps to satisfy all of our personal preferences, as the gaming PC helps to enjoy our desired games according to our desired frame rate. Similarly, our custom opens the pathway for upgrading our machine as per the technical changes or if we want more powerful games to be played.
Likewise, building a custom PC will definitely help us to understand more about each individual components of the computer system, which is going to be very handy for all of us. Gaming PC are not just for gaming, as these gaming PC’s can go beyond it and it includes high end 2D, 3D Animations, Graphic works,, Architectural Designs and more. With the elegant looks and effective powers, the use of gaming PC’s has been increasing in the present days of digital world. Building a gaming PC will definitely be a great investment that we can do, as it’s due to its multitasking capabilities and lots of great features for our start ups to initiate.
So, now let’s move towards building a gaming PC, as we focus on the main hardware components that are the mandatory parts while building a gaming PC.
So, the basic parts while building a gaming PC includes Graphic Card/Graphic Processing Unit (GPU), Motherboard, RAM SSD/HDD, Case and Power Supply. Now, have some detail information’s about these components.
Gaming PC Building
CPU (Central Processing Unit): It’s the main component of the computer system, as the CPU makes our computer run. The Central Processing Unit instructs the information to the other parts of the computer system. Mainly, the CPU/processor transfers the information’s to the software as well as the hardware components of the computer system. So, the, principle is simple, if the processor is more powerful then it transmits information’s faster and vice-versa.
Motherboard: It’s the main backbone of the computer, as it’s the main Printed Circuit Board of the computer system. Mother board can also be termed as the main-board, mobo or the main circuit board. More importantly, the motherboard is the place where all the hardware components in our computer exist. It connects all the important parts of the computer system, as; it connects the CPU, optical drives, hard drives, Video Card, Sound Cards, expandable ports for other upgrading. Likewise, there are some motherboards which also have some integrated Wi-Fi port, Graphics Card and more. The motherboard of a computer system is cased inside the casing via screws along with the blend of pre-billed holes. Some of, the, popular, brands of a computer system includes Intel, ASUS, Aopen, ABIT, Biostar, Gigabyte, MSI, etc.
RAM: It’s the main memory unit of a computer system, as the RAM (Random Access Memory) controls the amount of data that our computer can process at any given time. Moreover, RAM stores information’s inside computer, so more the RAM, more will be the efficiency of our computer system. RAM has volatile features, which means the data’s and files are retained in RAM until the computer is powered on, however it is lost when the computer is turned off. So, it signifies that when the computer is restarted then the Operating System as well as the other files within the computer systems reloaded within RAM via HDD (Hard Disk Drive) or SSD (Solid State Drive).
Moreover, the data’s can be read, or written at an equal
amount of time interval in RAM, whether any data’s within the memory are in
contact with other direct-access data
storage medium like CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, Magnetic tapes, Drum
Memory along with the Hard-
Disk. Thus, RAM is vital aspect while building a custom gaming PC of our
choices.
Power Supply/SMPS: Power Supply is another part of PC assembling, as it transfers the power from the DC source to an AC source to the PC, while converting the voltage as well as the current characteristics. SMPS stands for Switch Mode Power Supply, as the switching device in SMPS transfers the electric energy from the source to load, as in majority of, the cases the source is AC or DC, meanwhile the load is DC. Power Supply can be seen as the least considered component while building a PC, but to be honest in real experience it’s one of the main parts which should be taken into consideration. Selecting the correct power supply can be quite tactful but once we get the perfect match we will definitely get the desired outcome, which is ultimately the main goal.
SSD/HDD: Storage in PC building procedure is very vital as it the real heart of a PC. There are two, options for the storage to choose from and that is SSD (Solid State Drive) and HDD (Hard Disk Drive). Our files are saved within the Digital Data which is saved within data storage. More the storage, more powerful will be our PC, as it will help to store more files, Medias, games and more.
Casing: It’s very important for us to choose a perfect casing that suits all our components. Some casing includes additional cooling, while some do not. Proper casing helps us to protect the computers from any dusts, external disruptions, and power failures, etc. We can find majority of the casing in Rectangular shape and in Black/Grey color. If the case has the liquid cooling system attached to it in-comparison to the traditional air cooling then it would be more noteworthy.
Having additional cooling systems as well as the secondary HDD/SSD will be very useful for more upgraded functioning of our gaming PC.
GPU/Graphics Card: Likewise, there should be an appropriate GPU/Graphics card on our system which will be very effective for us. So, choosing a desired GPU will be very noteworthy for us, as high end gaming as-well as multimedia works requires powerful GPU, as it renders image to the qualitative display. Along with gaming and multimedia graphics production, ray tracing as well as crypto-currency mining also requires high-end graphics production works.
Monitor: We can choose our desired monitor LCD, LED or 4K as per our requirements, meanwhile, 4K monitors are also pretty trendy these days for gamer as well as post production artists.
Assembling a Gaming PC:
After getting ready with all the required components that are required for assembling a gaming PC, let’s start with getting the screw driver ready, along with the components of the PC side by side. Our component includes Processor (CPU), Motherboard, RAM, SSD/HDD, Power Supply, CPU, Heat sink, Hard Drive, USB 3.0 cables and Gaming Case.
Initially, we will have to install the CPU inside the casing and add a head sink CPU along with the process of installing the RAM, because doing this will be very effective for our work flow. Likewise, we will have to install the I/O shield and place the motherboard inside the case by sliding the motherboard until the port fits via the I/O shield.
The I/O shield covers the back portion of the computer system, as it is also useful for shielding the input as well as the outputs from being distorted or damaged, while plugging in as well as unplugging any-thing. While continuing the process of installation we will require to properly screwing up the installation of the motherboard along with the case.
Our next procedure will be to install the graphic card along with the hard drive. Meanwhile, we should consider removing the hard drive brackets from our computer and gradually secure it towards the back portion of our hard-drive. After this we will have to slide the brackets with the hard drive back at the drive bay.
Continuing further we will have to install the Power Supply carefully making sure the power supply doesn’t chock with any cable. We can then install the USB 3.0 cable along with the HD audio cable, as this HD audio cable is attached beside the RAM and graphic card. Similarly, attaching the remaining cables, connecting Graphic card Power Pins, Connect PSC to Motherboard, connect power to Hard Drive, plugging in the CPU power pins, connecting the heat-sink power chords, attaching the case fans to power, attaching the hard drive to the motherboard. Finally, we will have to turn on the Power Supply and test whether the computer is showing the correct lighting s and other functioning’s. We also need to install the Operating System and connect the Monitor with the CPU via HDMI port and open the power connection and ultimately enjoy the gaming PC experience.
