Nepal's National cricket Players will now get their respective salaries.
Nepali Cricket Team Salary
As their salaries had been stopped due to the ban on Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) from the ICC.
This band was applied due to the dispute in the election of new leadership in CAN.
But, according to ICC headquarter, ICC has agreed to provide two years salary of 2017 and 2018 to the players on the initiative of National Sports Council (NSC).
As the statement was released from the NSC's member Secretary Keshab Kumar Bista. In the statement he said that " We have initiated in this process and the ICC has agreed to this Subject".
According to ICC, the categorized players will receive their salary within few weeks.
Also the National sports Council will coordinate the salary distribution to players.
As ICC has categorized players in Group 'A', 'B' and 'C' so, based on their category their salary will be distributed.
So, the 'A' categorized players will receive on the basis of their monthly salary which is NRs. 35,000.
Also the players who are in category 'B' were entitled to a monthly salary of Rs. 25,000 per player.
Also the 'C' category players will receive a monthly salary of Rs. 15,000 per player.
