GOKYO VALLEY TREK

Gokyo

Trip Itinerary:
Day
1: Arrival in Kathmandu
As you arrive in
the Tribhuvan International Airport you can see our Pla Card or Sign Board
along with your name printed there. You will be guided to hotel for refreshment
and we will have conversation about whole package, next day’s plan, & all
necessary things for the whole trip regarding ATM’s and Money Exchange.
Day
2: Sight Seeing and Trek Preparation
You will be
exploring Thamel i.e. main tourist
hub in town, along with all three Durbar Square within the valley at the end we
will visit Pashupati Temple and head towards hotel. There we will guide you
about the top restaurants and bars in town, also we will be having preparation
for our gear up.
Day
03: Flight to Lukla (2886m) 40 minutes and a short trek to Phakding (2610m)
Flight to Lukla
is goanna be one of the adventurous, as Lukla airport is at world’s highest
altitude. After landing we will head towards short trek to Phakding which is
situated at the bank of gorgeous Dudh-koshi River. You get to explore the
beautiful downhills and panoramic natural scenes on Phakding village.
Day
04: Phakding–Namche Bazar (3440m) 6 hours
Phakding to
Namche Bazar is very much refreshing trek where you can explore different
Nepali indigenous cultural diversity as well as the Tibetan influences. The
colorful Buddhist Monuments and architecture gives trekkers very eye catchy
memories. The climate here is cold as wind flows at a high rate which makes
trek even more exceptional.
Day
05: Rest and Acclimatization at Namche Bazar
Along the way we
will be relaxing, having lunch and typical Nepali flavors and get to know the
locals and also about the places history and existence. We will be capturing
photographs and exploring whole lot of natural beauty of the landscape here.
Lots of herbal floras can be found in these areas.
Namche Bazar to
Dhole is a home to Nepal’s national flower Rhododendron.
Along the way you can view lots of bunches of this flower. Also the old
Buddhist sculptures and landscape gives the holistic vibes to trekkers. Tengboche is the main hub here for
lodging and relaxing which is the gateway to Dhole.
Day
07: Dhole to Machermo (4150m) 5 hours
After having breakfast in early
morning we will move ahead from Dhole, in the trek route you can explore the
mountain ranges like Kangtenga, Tawache,
Thamserku, Cho-oyu and more in the counting. Machermo is situated towards
south of Gokyo which is full of its winding beauty and intense snow mountains.
Day
08: Machermo-Gokyo (4750m) 5:00 Hours
Day begins with
the destiny towards Gokyo, the route takes us towards the up-hills giving the
royal Himalayan exploration. Along the way we pass through the glacier lakes
and mortars. After bunch of hours of walk you will reach Gokyo Valley, where we
will relax and have traditional Nepali taste at afternoon.
Day 09:
Rest day at Gokyo or day hike to Gokyo Peak (5483m)
After whole lot
of experiment we will be having relaxed session till 9 am with yoga and
spiritual meditation. Then after having breakfast if we can manage time definitely
we will head towards Gokyo Peak for Hiking. This is going to be more daring and
adventurous due to high up-hills but at the same time goanna be rewarding.
Day
10: Gokyo - Dhole (4040m) 6:00 Hours
From the Gokyo
Valley we return towards Dhole through the foot hills of Machermo this is goanna
be quite a long walk at the same time experience here can be of a lifetime. We
will also explore Gokyo Lake and various foothills of the Himalaya. After a
long and experimental return we will reach Dhole.
Day
11: Dole - Namche Bazaar (3440m.) 5:30 Hours
Dhole to Namche
Bazar trek gives the influence of the Tibetan hierarchy with full of colorful
Buddhists Monasteries and their ancient monuments. Along the way we can view
lots of floras mainly bunch of rhododendron trees. The ascending and descending
foot hills also adds adventure to trek. After long trek we will reach panoramic
Namche Bazar.
Day
12: Namche Bazaar - Lukla (2886 m.) 7:00 Hours
Namche Bazar to
Lukla will be having long trekking experience of increasing and decreasing
order of rough tracks with view of snow mountain ranges. We will pass through the Phakding village and head towards Lukla. During this period we can
observe the true beauty of country as this place is one of many trekking gems
of Nepal.
Day
13: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu 40 minutes
After reaching
Lukla airport we catch a flight to Kathmandu which is unarguably one of the
best aviation adventures for anyone. After reaching Kathmandu we will visit Swayambhunath, Bouddhanath and couple
more of world heritage sites of valley. At night we will head towards Thamel for Eastern Fusion music and hence
towards our hotel.
Day
14: Transfer to Airport for your onward destination.
In the early
morning we will be having breakfast and interacting with each other and
creating mutual co-operation with each other for future endeavor and also have the
gestures about the whole experiences. Having all sets done we will be heading
towards Kathmandu airport as per your flight schedule and desired destiny.
