- First open a DMAT account from any of the broker office (securities) or dmat supportive bank\finance.
- You have to fill ASBA form and get C-ASBA registration number from your bank, as C-ASBA is compulsory.
- You can apply online through meroshare.
- For meroshare fill up the form from broker office or your bank wherever you have opened your DMAT account.
- Charge for DMAT is Rs. 150/year & for meroshare Rs. 50/year.
- If you don't have internet access then you can go to your bank and fill the Share Form and apply for IPO/FPO.
- Refer top share market portals like merolagani.com, sharesansar.com for updated news.
- You got to have good theoretical knowledge about Initial Public Offering, Final Public Offering, Right, Bonus, Auction which you can google it or there are many books available both in English/Nepali about Finance and Stock Exchange.
- After having good knowledge abour Primary Market you can enter Secondary one.
- To buy shares in secondary market you have to go to broker house directly and order your purchase.
- One DMAT account can be used for Primary & Secondary, however you can have maximum of two DMAT account only. According to SEBON only one account can be used to buy IPO/FPO, otherwise your application will be canceled.
- For Secondary Market you can use both DMAT account.
- Secondary Market are more subjected to market risk than primary, so you got to have technical, analytical knowledge for your property security, for these knowledge you can google it.

- Similarly you can sale your share at the broker office by filling up KYC & small form for your sell order, after your sale is successful you have to sign a cheque at the broker office.
- Finally after one week of your sale you will get receipt cheque from broker office which you have to deposit in your bank account to get your reward.
- If you want more secure investment then mutual fund/equity fund are more safe for long term investment as compared to Secondary Market.
